The following questions are often asked by clients of Dr. Goodwin. Please view these for your benefit.

When should I have my puppy/kitten vaccinated and neutered/spayed?
Please call us during regular business hours and we will discuss a program that is specific to your pet to insure its health is properly managed. Neuters and spays are often performed around six months of age for both dogs and cats.

My dog ate rat poison. What is an immediate treatment?
For emergencies like this question, please contact the vet immediately. If this problem occurs outside of regular business hours, emergency services are provided, you may contact the vet via emergency phone (816-449-5336) for assistance.

Do you operate on any other animals besides cats, dogs, cattle, and horses?
Yes, services are provided for all livestock species. Including the above mentioned animals; we provide comprehensive services and health programs for animals including: sheep, goats, swine, and lamas.  Companion animal services are primarily limited to cats and dogs. Please consult the vet if you have questions regarding the health of another type of animal to discuss potential services to be provided.
